Need Rollbar for 68 Camaro

I am looking for a rollbar that will fit a 68 Camaro with a factory interior except for 4th gen camaro seats. I need it to allow the rear seat to be installed, not used by passengers, and factory headliner.

custom, a good fabricator will be able to meet all those requirements and make it plenty strong for safety reasons. im finishing a 6pt cusotom roll bar and I will post up pics later today. It does eliminate the rear seat but minor adjustments to the rear bars and the seat can be saved.

no worries, check out this idea. Its a removable section of the harness bar, if can also be made to have the entire harness bar removable.

You should check out the DS&E rollbar (link below). I bought it through YearOne when they first started offering it and got it for like 20 or 25% off (which was a heck of a deal); not sure if they run specials on it anymore though. It has a removable harness bar, and as far as I know, it works with the factory interior. It hasn't been installed yet so I can't comment on the quality or ease of installation, but I've heard good things about it.

Off Topic: Jason, very nice work on the cage you guys did; I bet that thing is rock solid. One thing I was wondering - what was the reason for not leaving fillets on the main 90s on the bracket welded onto the tube in the last picture? I guess if you did that you'd also have to radius the piece that it meets up with, which means more fabrication time. Just curious....really nice work

Im not quite sure what you are asking?

but alot of the style is from the customer. He wanted this sort of "flow" to it. Please refrase your question so i can give the proper answer.

Jason - sorry for the confusion; I was thinking that you actually fab'd the male/female quick-disconnect brackets that are welded onto the ends of the harness bar and the pieces of the cage that it meets up with. I was asking a question about why you designed those brackets the way you did, but now I realize you didn't design them. Or did you? Maybe I've confused everyone including myself :hand:

we did not make them, we get them machined and with the bolts already. They are from the off-road race world and i think they are the only option for any sort of removable bar in a setup like this.
