Difference in steering arms

Is there a difference between the steering arms from 64-72 A-body drum brake and disc brake arms. I know on camaros there is a difference. I was told there was but I am not sure. I am trying to get a pair of drum brake arms to compare them to the disc brake ones I already have. This is for a custom application.
Any help would be great.
