Yeah, except for the high-speed steering issues that have killed more than a few drivers so far.
If I had $400k to drop on a car, it had better not only be safe while going fast, it had better come as close to making me immortal as technology could allow.
Of course, since I don't, it's a moot point.

V10 with an all carbon fiber monocoque chassis. One is on its way back to FL after being totaled on the Gumball Rally. If it gets parted out, you FL guys have the opportunity to get some cool project car stuff. I was going back and forth on another chat room with the guys from Croatia that were hauling the car to the airport so it could be flown back to the States. I was hoping to get dibs on the seats........

I wanna run in the Gumball 3000 but i cant see myself paying 25k for it...or maybe i could?!?!?!?
Besides that Ive seen one sat in one and its really no difference then my old mans viper. Its just not "my cup of tea"

This year it was 28K (pounds not dollars). The exchange rate is now around $2.00 to the pound (sterling) so entry is $56,000. I guess I'm waiting until I win the powerball a couple of times LOL!

No different than a Viper???? Are you serious?? That's like saying an NSX isn't any different than an Enzo. Fine cars but you're talking about apples and oranges.
Nothing against Vipers or Viper owners but an aluminum truck motor doesn't make a car a supercar.

Agreed, These cars are way more than a viper. And thats not to say I wouldn't want a viper!

I agree completly. We get those cars in my shop for service and repairs from time to time, and they are amazing cars. Complete carbon fiber chassis, carbon brakes, 8000+ rpm rear-mounted 5.7 V10 making 600hp, etc. Compare it to a Viper, I don't think so (other than the fact that it's fast, seats two and has big tires :) )
There is a lot of F1 technology in that car.
Oh, and about them crashing and people dying in them...
If you are talking about the crash at California Speedway last year, I think that accident was caused when somebody pulled out in front of the Carrera GT when it was doing close to 200 mph. The driver tried to avoid the other car and lost control. I think you would be done for no matter what you were driving in that sistuation.
