I am getting ready to upgrade my stock suspension on my 55' Chevy 150 Sedan. Mark at SC&C got me a package together.
StreetComp Stage 2,basic. Includes tall upper ball joints, tall tie rod ends and adj. tubular upper a arms with greasable bushings.
Varishock QS1 coilover conversion with springs
Varishock QS1 adj. rear shocks
Baer 13"/dual piston Track front brakes
Baer 12" Sport rear discs
This totals about $4500
I asked a question on another chat board and someone contacted me with this list of parts. He's asking $3500. The parts are used and have about 1500-2000 miles on them.
Heidts tubular upper and lower front a-arms, already powder coated metallic silver
silver powdered coated front sway bar
Tci/Earle Williams powder coated 2" dropped spindles
12" wilwood disc brakes
2"dropped 5 leaf springs
rear sway bar
front QA1 coilovers
rear QA1 shocks
set of 1.5" steel lowering blocks and grade 8 ubolts
I am just wary and I am a believer of you get what you pay for.
Any thoughts to this?
