Looks good! Now all we need is a Snowman edition peterbilt and we're good to go! So does anyone know who made the tubular front subframe? That would definitively be something I would be interested in!! Does year one make the LEd tail lights too?

Doh! Never mind about the subrame, its a detroit speed. I was thinking round tube...but I would still like to know who makes those LED tail lights!

Oh hell yeah. I wrote Year One telling them their renddering with the snowflake/honeycomb wheel needed to be changed and that people were begging for a plus sized snowflake that looked like the orginal snowflake. I couldn't believe it but Kevin King himself wrote me back and said they were working on a plus sized snowflake. That must be it. It looks great now and they look just like the ones that you can get from Frank at Prodigy Customs. Is that just coincidence?

Frank's Prodigy Customs' snowflakes never made it past the planning stage, so these YO flakes are the only game in town.

Good news is they are also coming out with 17" versions as well. The 17" will feature a stepped lip (YO Bandit has 18" with rolled lip).

Super cool wheels.

I like the wheels but not the seats. It's strange that I like the door panels though. I would be curious to see if Year One offers the wheel and what sizes.

Badass car. I've been wanting to build my own pro-touring Bandit. It would be similar I suppose.

I just went to the Year One website and checked out the wheels. They also offer and Honeycomb style wheel that is very nice. I have got to get me a set of the Snowflakes for my '73.

Thats pretty cool. I was a fan of the movie since I first saw it as a kid. The price seems pretty reasonable for what you get too. A real modern muscle car.

That's a lot of beers! :Alchy: Did they actually deliver it in a custom Peterbuilt?
The TA is awesome, by the way! Makes me want to sell the Coddingtons on the Bandit and get me a set of them snowflakes! :headbang:

I wonder if they are using any of their own parts on these cars. I have never got anything from them that was even usable.

OK I admit I'm more a car guy than a truck guy. :dunno:
Wheels are 18" Junkyard Dogs but I guess I would have to get about $600 a rim cause that's probably what these 18" snowflakes will cost if they ever start producing them...

WS6
05-13-2007, 04:39 PM
That's gonna be a hell of a shipping charge back to the US on those rims. But yeah, I think I too would try and get some of thsoe snowflakes if I could.
