Who on here has put in the electric headlight door motors from DSE on a 69 RS and how much trouble are they to install?
I've got a set coming and I'm looking for hints of what I might run into and any little tricks I might need.
thanks,
Ken

I've got a set sitting on my floor. They look sweet! Looks like wiring is the only pain. doesn't look too hard, just a pain to climb under the dash and such( I gotta start working out :smoke:)

The hard part is adjusting/positioning the whole headlamp assembly so that the covers don't rub when opening and closing. The rest should be relatively easy.

Yep just did the install and it was a piece of cake. The door's just place suck to adjust sometimes...

Very well engineered, simple and straight forward installation. They work great!

Thanks for the replies. Now I won't feel so intimidated. However, I don't like wiring at all. Might just let my mechanic handle this one.
