Im looking at some very affordable BMW wheels on ebay.. and they are 5 on 120mm.. i believe 5 on 4.75 translates into 120.2 mm

Will they bolt on and not rock or come loose?? has anyone tried this..?

5x4.75 translates to 5x120.65 mm

search for BMW wheels, you'll find loads of discussion on it. Basically, the difference is so minute you won't notice. many have done it. Have yet to hear of a problem lug nut wise. Be sure the bevel on the lug nuts you use matches the bevel on the wheel. They are beveled different for metric ones.

send me pics please... What size wheels did you use and what back spacing.. 67 firebirds use similar backspacing to my 84 camaro..

i think the only time i have ever heard of anybody having problems is when they switch their 5x120.65 wheels to 5x120 wheels.....back and forth numerous times, thus tweaking the lug studs back and forth and eventually breaking the studs off.

Like Tony said, do a search on BMW wheels. There are plenty here using beemer wheels (myself included). I use 17x 8.5 front and 17x 10 rear thanks to a micro tub. Don't know the BS of the top of my head (installed them years ago). Once again, do the search and you will find the answers to your questions.

Had the rear wheels of yesterday, offset is 17mm. I'll leave the calculating part up to you.

so they will go straight on the car? I was told to use them too, but my car is going to be used on the track, are there safety issues?

Oooops, nearly forgot, I'm using a second gen. rear end (= 1" wider in total). So basically for a 1st gen rear end that would mean approx. 5mm offset.
