I have a 1967 Camaro. I have 69 Camaro disc brakes on it now but also have drum spindles, hubs and all the nother stock drum parts that came off of it. The rears are stock drums.

What brake parts can I use from a 94 Trans AM? It has front and rear disc. I know I can use the rear parts. I want to do a Touring Classics type Hybrid set up on the front and will the front brakes or parts from the Trans Am work for this? Would I be better off not messing with the TA front brakes?

What is the value of "ALL" the brake parts including the rear end? I don't need the rear end but it's the only way the guy will sell it.

HELP!!!

Thanks
Joe

poop brakes, but you can use the master and combo valve for a c5 front ls1 rear set up.

ummm after reading I see the rears are not all created equal on the 4th gens. So I need to find something from 98 up correct?

So I can get the master and combo valve. What about the booster? Will these parts bolt into a 67? Are firewall mods needed? If i get the master etc what parts should I take from the T/A? I should be able to get everything I need.

Please give some advise on what this stuff is worth and a list of what I should take.

Thanks
Joe

You should be able to use both rear calipers and the mounting brackets. You could make the fronts work, but you'd have to fab your own brackets, and the '98 and up cars definately have better front brakes than the earlier fourth gens.

I believe those rears will fit under most 15" wheels, so they may have some trade/sell value as well.

I can get everything brake related for $300.00 including the complete rear end. Front brakes, master, prop valve and booster.

I am thinking this is to much money for them though.
