This is a real 1969 Camaro, hand built out of metal with a modern design to pay tribute to the 2009 Camaro.
Ummm..... No. But it does make me like the rear of the '09 more.

When I was teenager around 18 or 19, a friend of mine found a dildo in his older sisters bedroom. It was this big ridiculous chrome thing that obviously hadn't been used because it was still sealed in the box. We weren't sure if she had plans to use it or had recieved it as a gag but nevertheless we stole it and my friend Ron mounted a wooden base to the bottem of it. Thus was born, The Dildo Award. It was regularly handed out to whomever demonstarted extraordinary acts of stupidity. My friend Bob won it a record 57 times. We all won it eventually. I had the silver ediface on the shelf in my garage once for installing a camshaft with the number one cylinder at bottem dead center. Seeing this ad makes me think that we might need to bring back The Dildo Award here at Pro-touring.com. My vote for it's first recipient; the guy that thought up and then built that car.

That car is a disgrace to camaros - what a douche. Do you know what people on this board could build with $155,000. Thats rediculous!!!

Heh, the front of that car looks like one of the huge snowplows they use to plow the highways and interstates with.
This may not be well received here but, that Camaro is only 1 step more hideous than the '70 Chevelle redux that made the rounds in the past few years. (as seen in the mags)

Nevermind the grill and horrible tail lights, it's just so angular, and a bad angular at that. Rediculous flares, extensions, and such....it had to have taken a lot of work to get the car like that. It's just too bad it was in a direction like that....I feel bad for all the work that went into it

Whomever built it, certainly doesn't have a strong grasp of dimensional accuracy.

It's not the worst thing I've ever seen , But I wouldn't have done it to a '69.
"To each his own " I guess.

The front isn't near as bad as that rear...I have seen far worse done to a classic muscle car style. Then again, for 155k it is hard to beat!

You know what guys ? I don't think its that ugly - in fact I think it looks kind of cool. I'm not the biggest camaro fan anyway, but its got some nice touches.
As far as the price, I don't know what to say, because I don't really understand any of the prices people are paying for these cars nowadays, especially custom ones.

I actually just seen this car in person last weekend at the 2007 Spring Jefferson, WI swap meet. It definatly looks ALOT worse in person than it does in these pictures. VERY poor body work in my mind and it looks cobbled together. Definatly NOT worth the sticker price they have on it. Just my $0.02...

Forgot to mention, the grille and emblem is absolutely ridiculous in the way it is cobbled together and it made my friend, his dad, and I bust out laughing. I definatly would not have done this to a 69...again, just my $0.02

4 gallons of Rage Gold
2 Gallons FeatherFill G2
1 Gallon PPG K38

My vote for it's first recipient; the guy that thought up and then built that car.
And then immediately given to the person that buys it.

cow catcher on the front on old fashioned trians
That hurts to look at!
How retarded would you have to be to shell out $155,000 for that abortion when you can buy an actual loaded 2009 model for around $35,000 in little more than a year??
And why the hell would you attempt to go all 21st Century on it and leave the vinyl top on there?? I know, I know..... That's the least of it's problems but seriously.....
If anyone here is in design school, you could write your thesis about what's wrong with that thing and it would be 20 pages.

Why pay tribute to a car not even in production yet and screw it up in the process. That thing is horrible.

I saw that thing at Jefferson swap meet as well, the sign said it cost $155,000 to build and for $29,000 they can do a conversion to your very own Camaro....lucky you!

i normally exercise plenty of caution about ever saying anything negative about somebody else's hard work, but i'm going to do it because it took me awhile to figure out how to articulate what struck me as wrong about the back end....
the 3rd picture down makes the rear end look like a loaded diaper.

I love that the ad states that it's actually an original '69... Just in case people could not tell that it was actually a Camaro.
I think it's a cool concept to try to make an older Camaro look like a newer one...but it's like all those other great ideas that look good on paper and turn out like dung.
