I am trying to do something different with the standard floor dimmer switch. I am thinking of running a relay instead of the floor dimmer and mounting a switch on the dash or column ( 70's m/t column) to triggger the relay. I found a turn signal style switch @ (www.watsons-streetworks.com). And was wondering if anyone else has run accross and thing unique?

I also have a billet turn signal indicator with a push button and relay for my dimmer, as well as a billet tilt lever with pushbutton and relay for my reverse lights. I have not installed them yet but they look great and should work killer! I am pretty sure thay are from Watson's, haven't looked at them in a while...

I am using a momentary pushbutton on the steering wheel that triggers a Bosch relay, vice the OE foot switch.
Its quite handy while driving the twisties and switching not only gears... but dimming the lights when on comming traffic pops up around the corner. If you are switching gears via the clutch its kinda hard to hit the foot switch... as is hitting the turn signal lever when the wheel is rotated. With both hands on the wheel... it is in a fixed place within thumbs reach.
