How about checking fit for 4th Gen Nova's? Either with this product or the 2nd Gen Camaro product. 75-79's get no love.

Would this interfer with a 3" exhaust system exiting from the stock location?

darren@ridetech
05-02-2007, 09:05 AM
You should be able to exit it in the stock location, but the portion over the axle will have to be modified.

That price is using the best equipment that we have. If you are on a budget you could get a nice kit including Shockwaves up front (using oem arms), AirBar in the rear with the ARC4000e2 comp. kit for around $4389.

DSE minitubs shouldn't be a problem since the frame rails are not moved. Everything mounts to the inside of the rails.

Darren,

Is the only welding necessary still just the four tabs on the axles tubes?

darren@ridetech

Yep. This rear kit is almost identical to the Camaro, but the upper cradle is a little different.

I also was wondering about the wheel fitment that was used. Offsets, and sizes. Can you buy just the AirBAr without the air shocks?

It will most likely be at the Dallas GG event, we are holding an Auto Cross there as well. If you call that "out West".... : )

We will have a booth at the Pleasanton GG show, but there isn't any room left in the trailer after the diplay. We do need to figure something out for getting a couple of our cars to a track event in Cali.

Did anyone make it down to Nashville this past weekend?

wiedemab
07-02-2007, 08:41 AM
A group of us went to Nashville. It was a blast. Brad Coomer (is that spelled right) and Brett and a few of the other ART guys just about wore out the AutoX track. The Nova seemed to go around the track really well. I'm not sure how its times compared to the other ART cars. I'm also not sure what it is running for a motor compared to their other cars?

One side comment - Brett's '69 Mustang is just insane! That 460 Windsor motor is putting out some power and it was hooking up well with the R-compound tires. I think Brett was going to get the pics from a photographer that we were standing next to, but Brad had the left front tire about a foot off the ground (no I'm not exaggerating) coming out of the last turn toward the finish line.

If anyone gets a chance to check out the AutoX at any of the Goodguys - it was a blast to watch.

Later,

Brandon

I didn't have my camera with me (left it in the car). I saw/heard Brett ask the camera guy for the pic, so hopefully Brett will have it soon. It was pretty early on Friday and Brad was driving the car. I don't think it was one of the better times for a run, but it looked impressive as hell!

The picture may prove that I exaggerated some, but I swear it looked like it was a foot high - I'll wait to see what the picture shows.

Just out of curiousity - not to hijack this thread, but what kind of power is that motor putting out? It has to be in the 650 - 700hp range.

I just realized their is another thread on this topic, I posted over there too!

Later,

Brandon
