have a 68 camaro convert.. engine ls-2 with a 2" cowl hood 17" 5 spoke KMC hot wheel rims etc.. want to go with an orange and white combo.. (got some help from a lateral g member with a 2d design) both have sane color combo BUT different paint pinstipes.. a short one on top of the fender and a long one in the middle of the fender please vote for which pinstripe you like more and make any comments
thanks for your help

Top of the fender. It accesnts the lines better IMHO.

I like the bottom one better, it seems to break up the big expanse of orange better. Two things though, I think I would extend the tip of the stripe past the door into the rear quarter maybe even to the back side of the rear wheel well, and make the transfer from the nose band to the stripe a bit more graduall.

Do both and just scallop the thing like an old deuce roadster.
Or failing that, go long, but at the top of the fender, so it stops just short of the door handle.

another vote for top of fender but longer like the original hockey stripes

I picked the long middle stripe for the break up effect. It also looks more like a race car like that in my mind.
The short stripe on the top of the fender makes me think "GTO Judge". Espially with the base color being Orange. Get ready for a lot of "Hey, Nice Judge" comments from the uneducated casual observer if you go with that one.

I vote for the second version- centered stripe. Makes the car look longer and lower.

it looks like a play on the original hockey stripe to me which is awesome. Top one all they way

Top one. It flows better. If you turn away and look at them quickly you will notice the lower stripe visually detracts from the nice lines of the car. The lower one is a nice deviation but it almost cuts the front wheel in half. Just my opinion.

Center stripe
+1 for the variant of the hockey stripes... looks proper.

Top of the fender and follow the fender line curve. It looks smoother IMHO.

Second one for me!! I like how the wheel opening breaks it up. Looks like a race car graphic!

First one, play off the original hockey stripe design.
I also would like to see you explore - through renderings - the longer stripe that runs towards the back, I think you might find something good there. Might not, but it would still be better than running a stripe through the middle of the fender, IMHO of course!
