Greetings to all!
My name is Jesse and I'm hoping to get some good advice and meet some cool people who know something about pro touring. I'm not sure I'm starting out with the best platform for the sport, (I noticed a lot of GM vehicles in the garage), but I like being different. So I'm hoping to build a track-worthy, street-legal ride out of my 1971 Mach One. I'll start searchinng the threads immediately, but if any of you out there happen to have any experience with big blue ovals, please PM me.

Well, my '62 doesn't have a blue oval on it, but is still a FERD. Welocme to the board. Don't let the GM majority intimidate you. My first cars were all Fords ('66 & '84 Mustangs).

Hey Jesse Like the PT garage I've got a majority of GMs in my garage but the car I've had the longest is my 66 Mustang coupe. Your 71 should make a great platform to build from. As soon as I finish moving and completing a couple projects I'm working on now I'm going to get serious on my mustang.

Welcome--I always wanted to do a 67 fastback resto. I had a 97 mustang gt a few years back. Always loved em!
