I have a brand new tko 600 and was wondering what different fluids can be used with it. Can I use synthetics? Should I? If not what std fluids should I go with? Thanks?

Use GM Syncromesh or Pennzoil Syncromesh. Pennzoil is less expensive and you can get it at PEP Boys, etc.
They are exactlyu th esame - Pennzoil makes GM Syncormesh for GM.

I used the GM Syncromesh in mine, but I see plenty of people running Royal Purple Synthetic too.

Good to know Jeff! Nice to know there is a alternative to the guy at the GM parts counter holding us hostage. :ripped:

Synchromesh at a GM dealer is $ 9.93 per quart.( Wholesale price ). pn 12345349. Suggested Retail price is $13.23.

I think the Pennzoil brand at Autozone is about $ 7.00 a qt.

i havn't heard good things when using Royal Purple, i read on other treads that it messes up the auto trans. i know a guy with an 875hp HEMI with an auto 727, and the tranny failed deu to the fluid. just putting out a heads up on this. my T56 uses auto fluid, dont think ill be putting that in it
