Whereabouts in GA? There's a pretty sick blue street/strip Mav in the Augusta area that's pretty clean.
Yours looks nice and straight. This "long way to go"... what are you planning?

I'm in Rome, 'bout 70 miles NW of Atlanta. Oh, some more suspension work. Nothing elaborate just sway bars stiffer springs. Paint and body work, probably a hood scoop. Pretty basic stuff really.
Its a 17 year-old's daily transportation, so nothing extreme for now.

It's a pretty big project to put a 300 in a maverick, its so long. Ours had a stock 250 with a holley-weber 2v and 6 into 1 header. I like the sixes too but it's my sons car and he wanted that V8 rumble.
Thanks for the welcome guys.

Follow this plan and your Mav will be a hit!
IMO I'd skip the hood scoop unless you scored a Grabber hood and go for clean unsightly sources for fresh air.

I'd say this example is as good as it gets. A properly done Maverick is second to none in my book.
