My wife's boss is contemplating selling his Mustang. He has a '69 Mach 1 with a 351W and 4 speed. It has been restored. He doesn't really know what to ask for it and was thinking in the $8-10K range. I told him that is way underpriced for the car. I am going to take a look at it and get some photos and see what options it has. What would be rough estimate on the cars value with what little info I ahve given above?
If it's clean I would be running to the bank right now at that price.
Markets change by location obviously, but even at 15K I'd be running to the bank.

well, restored has many different meanings. If it was truly restored he would not be considering that price at all, as the true restoration would cost at least 2-3 times what he wants for it not including the price of the car.
So now it will depend on what the condition really is. $15K would be on the lower end I think, but no way to tell a fair price without some detailed pics.
