I have a protype of this on Penny. Glad they are selling them now (since I get asked about mine all the time).

The prefect complement to the hood hinges. Between Marquez, DSE and the Ring Bros there are some cool little trinkets coming on the market. :woot:

What kind of washers are those used with the button head allend bolt?? Looks very nice, probably one of the ugliest parts of any care, made nice now.

What kind of horsepower increase should a guy expect with those? :box2:

Just kidding, they look good.

I don't have a Camaro to go look at (or I'd just go look), but what's different between this latch and the stock latch, other than the button-head screws and billet cup-thing?

It only comes with the pin and cap, both machined from billet, $45 on the website I believe.

Not bad for one of them there cornering type cars.

BTW, your ride is the inspiring item these days. I'm not going to say that I stay awake at night with dirty thoughts but it is close.

Steve...I just wanna give you a head's up but I'm ripping off your "button head allen bolt and milled aluminum countersunk washer" idea. It's just too good to pass up.

Hillco Fasteners...right?

Well, says they fit up to '81 Camaros. Looks like I'll be getting one soon.

Oh, and it should compliment the fender struts from Twist Machine very nicely. It's the cool subtle touches...

The stainless pin and cup. I always hated the OEM one because you couldn't do anything with it that would hold up. If you painted it or powdered it then it just looked like crap after a while. Besides, this goes with the hood hinges.

Only the chrome stickers are worth HP. The rest are worthless.

68-74 Nova pin should be cheaper because they do not require the spring cup because they didnt have a spring from the factory.

Shouldnt there also be a matching jamb nut or do you use the stock one?

You can use the stock one, however I went and bought a stainless one.

Can you use a spring and cup on a Nova if you want to?

You could but it isnt needed. The front is open unlike the camaro that is sunk in the header panel.
