howdy everyone, well, my car arrived yesterday from dse and is now home. I had not seen it finished yet and when I did.... I was speechless. Kyles team did a excellent job... I couldnt be more happier. heres some pics I just took, I will get some better ones up on here once I can get some good lighting....these were taken in my garage with my dig camera that was about to die.....LOL :(

Nice.. and somewhat familiar :)
Who's pulley bracket system are you using? Whats your opinion of that intake.. I was gonna run it but it seemed lacking in surface area so im going through the hassle of running one to where the battery used to be.. The install looks very good and that LS1 just looks SO right in there..
Although im surprised they let you out of there with the stock windshield wiper motor still there ;)
Lookin good!!

thanks guys for the compliments. Steve, the pulley system is from street and performance, they look great but are on the heavy side....the intake I like for the "looks" factor becuase the polished intake goes so well with gloss black but I wouldnt run it again just for the fact of the weight. that intake is heavy! as far as performace wise, not sure, its already snowed here so im gonna have to wait till spring to break it out..... :( The install I couldnt be happier with, the motor looks like it has been there all along, I have seen a couple other LS1 swaps at shows in person and they all seem to be unlevel, the motor has a slight tilt up which I would think would be very stressfull on the driveshaft etc. this one sits flush and level which yours does also. I think the only well done swaps I have seen have been on this board. every one Ive seen in person has looked just thrown together.

What a great looking car Colt the engine looks amazing. What gauges are those they look like the auto meter cobalt ones? And are those set in the covens dash? Love the black

Excellent choice in engines!
Did you do any performance upgrades to the engine itself? Email me if you ever need any advice, I've been known to mess with those LS1 engines a bit.

thanks for all the compliments, the car has been 3 years in the making, and getting very close to done. the gauges are the cobalt series in the covan dash. as far as upgrades to the engine, headers, new intake(dont really count) and a new 80 MM bbk throttle body. I plan to do stage 2 heads and a cam swap but thats in the future.
thanks again for all the kind words......
