With work and life being as crazy as it is I'm real short on time to work on my car. I am dying to drive it and plan to put the turbos on the back burner and throw a manifold and a carb or some easy to install fuel injection system.

Who makes the easiest cheapest fuel injection system that is pre assembled on a manifold to put on my old small block 383 in my '68 Camaro?

I know it isn't pre-assembled but did you see the article on Mass-Flo EFI in the May issue of CHP? The benefit there seems to be zero tuning required.

Holley has got to be pretty cheap as well, If you look around a bit you could probably find a used set up cheap.

Holley Commander 950. You could have it running in no time on your SBC.

And you have the hook up on Holley right here Larry. I would consider a Stealth Ram or a T body set up

Larry you need to do two things:

1) Call Frank
2) Drive your car!!

Why buy the "cheapest" efi if you are going to turbo later? Buy one that is compatible or going carb/manifold should be doable cheaper than efi.

I have both the MAS FLO on my 69 Camaro and the Edlebrock Proflo on my 65 chevelle. The MASFLO is definately harder to install and more expensive. As easy as the Edlebrock system is to tune, the Mas Flo loses whatever so called advantage there is supposed to be. My Edlebrock system runs flawlessly. I did take time to build a cold air intake. The Mas Flo is a Mass Air system and has more components to install, plus the harness is generic and required me to modify it to fit the camaro. The hardest part is the fuel system.

I am in the process of installing a MEFI4B and ingenius software on another project. I would recommend anyone who is thinking about this to wait for MSD to release their version. I bought mine from ASM. This was a really bad choice. Their service is not very good.
