I got the engine and trans in today. Was pretty easy. The Poly Engine and trans mounts are nice too.
Here are a few pics. The last gives an idea of ride height. I am 6'0" Tall.

Glad to see it moving straight along...how much lower would you say it went with the engine in the car.

The engine weight probably droped the front end about 1/2"

Man, I'll have to stand corrected! :hammer: I thought it would drop alot more than that...what front springs and did you say you had drop spindles?

You're looking REAL good now.

Up front I have drop spindles, 9 1/2" Circle Track Springs(550lb) and spring adjustment cups.

I thought the stance looked like drop spindles but the 1/2" height change after droppping in the mill says that's one stiff set of springs. Is that about what other g-bodys are running here?

Just for reference, the coil spring x-ref says stock g-body springs were about 346# while the 442 & SS Monte got the 420#. Then again 550# isn't bad compared to the 700+# spring used in f-bodys (late model Camaros are a little more nose heavy).

Now that I see how your's sits with motor in I'm leaning toward the circle rack parts for the front end. What are you running for a front sway bar? What is your rear set-up?

I will be running a spohn or BMR front bar. The rear is going to be tubular double adjustable control arms in the stock location, Strange coilover setup and Hopefully SC&C's rear swaybar.
