?s about building an LT1 383

Debating building a 383, I am assuming a 90's era LT1 would need an internally balanced crank...? Any experience with Eagle cranks? Good/bad?

Your choice on the balancing unless your doing it on the cheap and reusing many stock parts. I would recommend internally though. As for Eagle, I believe they have a line or two that is good. I know Callies has good cranks and they have different lines availible.

Not planning on using any of the internals. Am thinking of a 6" rod 383. Maybe a Scat crank. Obviously a forged piece is best, how about a cast steel crank?
