Well after some now or never thinking I decided to add an intercooler. I didn't have the money for a Ron Davis IC so I had to get creative and after many late nights of searching the net I mad a choice to use a Treadstone IC...I feel it's the best bang for the buck and that's what I was after.

This perticular model flows just under 1500cfm which works for me as my ProCharger P1SC max is 1200cfm. It's off the shelf and basically bolts right in! Also I was able to use the stock hood latch and latch brace with a little modification to the brace. All in all I'm very pleased with the outcome and can't wait to plumb it!! https://static1.pt-content.com/images/pt/2005/07/biggrin1-1.gif

I'm thinking of painting it black so it wont stand out...any ideas on what the best process would be? Powder coat, Paint, ect.?

Anthony, if the intercooler is all aluminum, you can anodize it. Otherwise paint is the best way to go, as powdercoating is a bit thick and may affect the coefficient of thermal transfer.

And ... looking good!

Thanks guys!
Ralph, I'm getting very close to tearing it down for the final time!!

jp, good points and yes it's all aluminum...so I'll look into anoziding. Will that hold up to stone chips very well? I know it scratches easily.

Tony, yes progress is good and lately there's been lots!! How about you??

Hey Anthony, looks great man. I saw your A/C compressor is mounted low, where did you get the bracket from for that? That's what I want to do on mine too!!

Thanks!!
I got the bracket off ebay. It's a stock bracket for a LT1 camaro (93-97)....don't know if you noticed but I'm using a LT1 motor.
