Well after a long wait for my sub and a shipping company with no clue. I received my sub. Thats the good news.

Now the bad news. The sub must have fell in the shipping truck at one point or another. When I noticed it was loose in the crate and said something to the driver he was awfully quick to say you don't have to accept it and did not want me in his truck to inspect it thoroughly. So I looked it over the best I could and did not see any damage. Maybe not the smartest thing to do but I accepted it. Once we got it out and in the shop you could tell it have fell over so that the frame was upside down breaking one of the 2x4's and pulling the nails loose on another. Not having the time to uncrate the frame I took a few pics with my cell ran home before the old lady called for the 5th time telling me I was way late for dinner with her parents. Here are the pics not the greatest but you can see how the frame is still sitting on the left side of the crate when it sould be on the right. The part that worries me the most is the protective wrap around the upper ball joint has a hole in it where it hit the ground. Seeing how the sub is shipped without the coilovers and sway bar installed I would think there would be a little give and hopefully no damage.

Well the verdict is in, the sub passed the 435lbs drop test.
At this point I can't find any damage to the frame except one little scuff on the upper ball joint that if you did not know to look for it you would not see it.
Here are a few pics of it out of the crate this thing is a work of art.

Tell us who your shipper was, so we can avoid them...

The shipper was Oak Harbor freight lines.

Well im glad it wasn't damaged but I gotta ask...how hard is it to drive a truck and deliver something undamaged? Maybe its me but it doesn't seem very difficult. I got a stories about OHF. Looks nice BTW.

My guess is the clip comes across a jealous driver and it then "falls" off the truck. Same deal as the aholes who key nice paint jobs. I am looking at ordering an AM clip late summer for a winter build and I am going to pay whatever it takes to plywood entire crate, out of site out of mind.

Occasionally this sort of thing happens with freight companies, and I don't think there is a single one out there that doesn't do it (I can tell you about my flat screen TV that had the screen smashed in...). Please, if something like this happens, give us a call while the truck is still there or note that damage has been done on the Bill of Lading that you have to sign off. It is always easier to get a claim processed with the shipping company if freight damage is noted on the front end.

PS- Thanks for buying the sub from us, we appreciate your business!

Hey Craig,

Is it possible to get a G-Max full frame from you guys that is not welded? Would this save a few hundred on shipping?

Hey Craig, I would of called but it was already after 5pm so I figured you guys were already gone. The driver told me if there were any problems that he noted it and then showed me where his employee number was and the phone numbers to call and etc.

Anyway all is good and I appreciate all the help and professionalism everybody in your company gave me during this purchase.

P.S. Thank God you guys put the time in to crate your frames as well as you do or this might have had a different outcome.

Thanks Tyson

It's impossible.

You send stuff truck freight you don't want damaged.

That doesn't include Snap On toolboxes, although our current freight vendor Matheson hasn't brought me a damaged one yet.

Cross your fingers and pray real hard.

If the outcome was different, you would have been shipped a replacement and we would duke it out with the shipping company to pay for the replacement.

I'm glad that it was OK though! Thanks for the business and your feedback.

Also, we don't sell the MaxG chassis as an unwelded kit, there is just too much going on with that frame to sell it unwelded and have it done without the jig table.
