I am in need of replacing those big nasty butterfly screws with cap head screws on my holley. Are there any particular ones to buy, what size and where. Any help would be appreciated

You can get them from any holley parts supplier. You could also probably get brass screws from a hardware store. Sometimes you can re-use them, if they don't break or get messed up. I can't remember if I bought them seperately or with the butterflys. I replace them and re-crimp them with loctite.

I knew to locktite them, but you basically brad the end if any protrudes through the other side of the shaft. Right?!

I've used small visegrips and smashed them with that. You do not want to bent the throttle arm. If you have the baseplate removed you may be able to peen the ends over with a hammer or punch, but be careful, a lot is not needed with the loctite.

Use stainless buttonhead screws and red or green locktite and remove the base and use a solid backup you can use a small hammer to peen the ends over too.
