Floorpan sheetmetal thickness.

I am about ready to start making my own floorpans for my 70 mustang. I was wondering what gauge thickness I should go with. I am making my own for a couple of reasons. One being I want to make my own and two the subframes I intalled the factory floorpans just wont' work without looking terrible. I was thinking 18 gauge with bead rolled in them, since that is what the replacement rear seat pans were that I bought. Thanks in advance.

Thanks JP, I will post up some pictures once I finish up the subframes. I have been taking pictures as I have been building so it should be a pretty good spread.
