Might have to cut a notch in to the bench to clear, Looks a lot like my car but less rusty, What color red is that??

the car is porche guards red, i restored it about 8 years ago, while it is still in decent shape i want to redo it again,it has gotten a few dings from being in storage , next time i want to smooth the fire wall.
ya i know i may have to knotch the bench....thats worse case, i may try to do some shifter mods 1st...simular to a slick sticks set up in hopes of not hacking up my mint bench seat! i'll know soon!

well the motor and the t56 is now in the nova.....let me tell you it was just one thing after another....1st when i went to put the clutch on the fly wheel the splines(center of cltch disk) to the fly wheel side were hitting the extended pilot bearing for the t56 install so i had to grind off about 1/16 of a inch, wasnt much and i didnt even get into the part that had the splines..just a pain in the @55!! then let me tell you anyone saying that you can do this sway with tunnel mods is full of it! this car has/had mint floors, i basicly had to cut the crossmember out(shifter goes right through it ) and slice the top of the tunnel from shifter to beining of the tunnel. i'll have to bring it into the body shop and weld it up after everything else is done(i own a body shop...but with all the collision work its tough to squezze in projects). has anyone else had to cut through that crossmember? looks like i'll have to build a new one to the rear of the old one for bracing purposes....i know how to do it just not looking forward to thetime its gonna take to do it correctly! im open to suggestions! lol !
hers a pic of the motor back in her...and yes if anyone is wondering i spent easter under her! lol!
