I forgot to ask this question in my first thread...:firefire:
I am looking for some headers for my 400. It has the 6X heads on it. Do you know of any headers out there. I haven't been having a lot of luck locating some. I would prefer ceramic coated or stainless... something that won't rust.
Thanks for everybody's help.

Doug's headers fit the best for Pontiac applications. I am using some for my 428 Pontiac engine. Just be prepared to drop around 600.00 dollars. Good luck and post up some pictures when you are done.

Actually, Indian Adventures headers fit best......
But any D-port header for your frame type will work.

You could try the Raim Air manifolds - that's what I'm running on my 6X heads. They look stock, flow pretty well, and no ground clearance problems.

Hedman part #35270. They have the best ground clearance of all the headers I've tried on my 67. I bought the headers plain, welded up the outside of the tubes at the flanges so I could port match them to my ported 5C heads and then had them coated. They tuck up so close you can't tell I have headers from behind. 1-3/4" tubes and 3" collector.
