Ive got everything i need except I need to make a bracket or buy the kore 3 bracket. My ? is has anyone successfully used f body backing plates with the c5 rotors and how did they accomplish it. I would like to keep the factory e brake style verses swapping in an aftermarket e-brake. Any help would be great

You can use the LS1 backing plates and a ~0.7" spacer for C5 rotors. I've searched extensively on the e-brake cables and could find nothing so I'm designing my own brackets and will get cables made. I won't have anything to show for at least a month.

I agree with him except I used LS1 cables and brackets. I welded the stock e-cable brackets to the lower shock mount on my a-body. Everything works great.

If I use the fbody rear backing plates and spacer do I need the f body caliper abutments or the c5 abutments?

man, been so long I don't remember, think I used C5 for mine. I think you might have an issue with shocks being in the way of one of the calipers if you have the staggered shock deal on an F-body. just something to check on.

I'm pretty sure you use the C5 abutments. There will be no problems with shock clearance on a '67 because it's got both shocks in front of the axle. You just mount L on R and visa versa so the calipers are toward the rear. This makes the cables pull from the front like stock so using the LS1 cables pulling from the rear and looping over the housing won't work.
The rear calipers are so close to the same that the abutments only determine which pads to use.
