Bow Tie 67

When I started the current project I told myself "Self get this car running, appearance can be dealt with in good time." Considering I will drive this car hard on a road course I felt it prudent to learn her limits while waiting on a nice paint finish. To add to the mix, I have a self imposed deadline for a drivable vehicle by May 1st. This gives me a month to work out any bugs prior to the HRPT.
Well being a Virgo, I can really get nit picky. Case in point, I have been fabricating my instrument panel this week. I have used a plumb bob, digital level ( I both love and hate this tool ), 6” 12" & 36" rule, my dominate eye ( right ), both, as well as the non dominate eye, measured from my shoulders while seated and every other conceivable datum point I can think of. Yes, I think the panel will end up looking centered, at least to me. Well at this rate if I make my deadline it will not be by cutting corners. I’m beginning to think I have gone off the deep end, but then again it reminds me of all the work I accomplished on my 67 in areas that would never be seen.
Cheers to all who have this gene.
