As mentioned in one of my prior posts, I have installed a 9" rear in my 69, but the guy who built the rear-end left the companion flange yoke in it. So, originally I was going to replace the yoke with a more typical 1330 or whatever, and then do what is necessary to get the driveshaft to mate up.
However, I was sniffing around Currie's site and I found this item:
http://www.currieenterprises.com/cestore/productsre.aspx?id=1043
It's a companion flange adapter, that mounts to my big round companion flange and allows the driveshaft and u-joint I currently have to still work. Does anyone see any problems with doing it this way? Am I really taking the easy way out at the expense of performance/reliability?
Thanks guys
