Hi everyone......it seems there are at least a couple other G-body projects/cars already on this site.....great to see, I could use some direction from anyone willing to chime in, hoping to spend my money on the best mods for the buck. I will snap some pics of the car and post my project plans in the other area to get peoples perspectives on the project direction.

Oh, I am in Ann Arbor Michigan by the way.

Basics:
1980 malibu
Plan:
LS1/T56 combo
12" 1LE brake upgrade with 2piston PBR calipers (baer bumpsteer elim. tie rod ends)
LT1 camaro rear disc brakes
36mm 1LE sway bar up front with softer springs
7/8" rear sway bar from Monte SS with harder springs
(hoping to drop the car 2-3" front and rear)
debating over coil over conv. in the front or not
IROC steering box
Late model monte buckets
Moog front end parts
Solid body bushings
Poly suspension bushings
Full F41 suspension frame braces
17" rims front and rear

All parts are still being collected/purchased, any opinions feel free to chime in!

Welcome to the site. The biggest issue with our cars is front suspension Geometry. I would look into the Howe tall ball joints. SC&C has them. This should help your car out in the handling department.

Look at the minitruck websites and see if you can score yourself a set of used drop spindles for an s-10. That will get you a 2" drop for cheap on the front.
