I have 96 lt1 it has a wire loom but I am not sure what year it is off of. What is cheapest way to control this motor? I have 2004r or a 4l60e to run. Sould I stick with obdll or go with 94-95 set up. Unfortunatly money is tight what is neatest cleanest way to get this motor running. It is goin in 70 Nova.

Thanks

What year is your 4L60E? The 94's are different to the '95-96 (they have an extra wire for the PWM converter lockup). If you stay with OBD-II I dont think you will be able to control a '94 box, if you go OBD-I you can use a '94 flash for the '94 box, or a '95 flash for a '95 or '96 box. Hope this helps.

I don't know much about there, but there are companies that convert the OBDII to OBDI. pcmforless.com, I believe does it. Check out their site and give them a call. Also, try camaroz28.com. There might be information there.
