A 79 80 Starfire would be on Olds, like a monza.

Never heard of them, I am a Mopar nut but I like the musclecars you know. However, I like it. I don't know about that engine offering though. If you buy it to flip, let me know. I would be interested simply because it is a Mopar, I know I'm ate up like that. Or you can just pass the phone # on to me. ???

For what it's worth, the Fire Arrow's actually a Mitsubishi. It's one of the early variants of the Mitsubishi Lancer / Dodge Colt. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plymouth_Arrow

Not that there's anything wrong with that. It is rear wheel drive, and if you're looking for a lightweight old school rally car made out of a domestic import with a smallish engine (2.6liter), and decent handling, that might be a fun car.

On the other hand, if you're into American iron specifically, then it's probably not your best bet (Come on Mopar, first the Japanese, now the Germans, get it together! God I hope some American company buys Chrysler back.)

That said, Don Prudhomme did make a pretty wicked looking dragster out of his.

a mopar small block is a popular swap.....my first car was a 77 Plymouth Arrow GT I actually had 2 of them....had seriously thought about keeping them and v-8ing one but couldn't afford to do it at the time so they went bye bye long ago....light and fun, but watch out they tend to oversteer pretty easy (why do you think I had 2)
