Been poking around here for a while, great forums.

Presently dont have anything super nice myself, my wife has kept her cars for many years, a 68 mustang, & a 72 cutlass convertible (EFI 455). I built both hers, & many have passed thru my hands. Yes, she is smarter then me.

I have a shop in Rockville, Md, Hot Rod Refinishers.

Myself & my partner have both been in Body & Paint for 20 plus years, & now are finally blessed with the chance to get to work on the cars we love everyday.

I spend a good bit of time on the computer in evenings, this forum's a nice spot to read, lots of neat projects.

Anyhoo, just wanted to say Hi.

Thanks, Jeff

Hi Jeff, and welcome. I lived in Germantown and worked in Rockville for over 20 years ... until last summer. I just moved down here to Winter Springs.

Where's your shop located?

Thanks for the welcome guys.

JP, If you went south on 355, Left on Twinbrook, 1st left by SYMS on Chapman ave., then we are on Right,on liitle spur of Thompson ave that goes down beside Sym lot & dead ends at Metro wall. Looking out our frt door, your looking at Syms.

Its a great spot, only 2 shops in immediate area, not like airpark or westmore, much nicer feel for us & customers. Best part is Urban Bar-b-que is rite down street.

Where did you work in Rockville? Ive been at various shops there over my career.

I used to live off Shipley terrace in G-town years ago, have been in Mount Airy last 15 years.

Welcome!

My dad used to sell tools in Rockville. He was a Cornwell dealer there. I used to sell them in the Airpark, and down in Kensington, Wheaton, etc.

Anyway, hello from Ijamsville!

Bill is his name... and yup that's him!

Not on RealOlds... erm, how do I put this... eh.... I put a big block Checy in mine...

Don't get too mad, it didn't have an engine when I bought it, and I already owned a BBC.

442- You put a what in your cutlass?........gasp!...........

Im kidding, nothing wrong with running what you already had.

Your Dads a good guy, Im hope he does up his house like he wanted.

GTO- Feel free to call or email me when youre ready to get on the body. You may want to conside getting a coat of epoxy on that thing soon. You can do epoxy, Then come back & do the body work later when you get around to it, until then it will be protected.

For now just try to be super careful with greasey finger prints on the bare metal & wipe it down with reducer, thinner,or whatever you have when it does get prints.

Just a thought.

It looks like it will be a neat car when its done, I like the wheels a lot.

Have a good week end, Jeff
