somebody used to make a kit to convert 2nd gen f-body leafsprings to a 3 or 4 link with coilovers. (sorta like the airbar setup from air ride but without air) i like the lateral dynamics 3 link but not $3600 worth, i also like the airbar setup but i think that 3/4 of their price is from r/d expenses. any other manufacturers out there? I've looked at alston (both), comp eng, sc&c, morrison, evm, detroit speed, lateral d, air ride

Would you spend the time, effort and money to develop a part and not expect to be compensated? How much does that DVD movie cost to produce? I bet it is not $20 like they cost at the store?

To have a system done right, safely, and do what its supposed to, in a car that was never meant for it, is a hell of a task. Just the legal ramifications alone are pretty scary.
As a small business owner, insurance is a killer, plus all the rest of the expenses that no one cares about (computer programs, R&D, etc).
I'm not saying guys aren't making money on this stuff, as they surely are, but they're also sticking their necks out as well...

Joeljet, sounds like you`re describing Alston`s G Bar 4 link/coilover package. It`s a nice setup, very easy install,no cutting and no welding on the unibody. It`s one of the most affordable systems out there too at $1599 WITH 16 settings adj. Varishock aluminum coilovers, springs and spanner. It`s not a hardcore road race car package but it is a very competent package for a high performance street car with lots of ride height and rate adjustment. You gain almost an inch or tire clearance too. We`ve sold a bunch of them and so far everyone`s tickled with em. Mark SC&C
