I am about to install my C6 Z06 brake setup but I still do not have any idea as to what I am going to do for an E-Brake. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? Buy the way it will be going on a 72 Pontiac Lemans Sport convertible with a ten bolt, I have the KORE 3 caliper bracket for the rear and I am using ATS spindles up front. :dunno:

here is a email i got from Tobin Knighton at kore3 about the c6 z06 kit

Matt, The front is pretty straight forward since you will be using the ATS AFXspindles. You will need to purchase calipers, pads, rotors, and hoses. Youhave options for everything but the calipers since you've already determinedthat you're going with the C6 Z06 (PBR M-Series) components. Pads are nowfairly well supported by the aftermarket with offerings from Hawk,Performance Friction, Carbotech, and others in addition to the OE padsavailable from PBR/GM. Rotors are also well supported but keep in mind thatthe OE rotors are only available in a drilled finish. These are fine forstreet use but I would suggest a performance slotted or plain rotor if youintend to abuse the brakes. We typically stock the slotted DBA 4000 seriesrotors but can get both plain and drilled & slotted in fairly short order aswell. If you were to calipers, OE pads, and rotors from us, you would belooking at $900 to $1050 with a kit discount depending on which rotors youselected. We would include M14x2.0 caliper mounting hardware with thecalipers as well. You're going to need a hose kit, front and rear, and you may as well replacethe rear center drop while you're at it. Our FlexKORE hoses are a 5-layerbraided Kevlar/Stainless construction that makes them pretty much the bestavailable hoses on the market today. For $139.00 you get (5) hoses, (4) M10banjo bolts, (8) crush washers, (5) clips, and (2) universal rear axleanchor brackets in your choice of color: clear, gray/smoke, red, green, blue, yellow, orange, or black. The rear is pretty similar to the front except you're going to need someadapter brackets as well, so plan on $1000-$1100, again depending on therotors you choose to go with. If you would like to add our drum-in-hatparking brake option, it'll add approximately $600 to the total. Overall cost is about $2050-$2300 w/o a parking brake, or $2650-$2900 with aparking brake. If you would like an itemized quotation, we would be happyto provide one once we determined what options you might be interested in,but this should get you in the ballpark for what you're going to be lookingat to go this route.

would it be possible for you to provide pictures and as much info as you can once you get the install done? i want to use the same kit for my 67 GTO

Thanks for the help, but do you need to make any special brackets up for the e-brake.

Seriously!! I could maybe handle the fronts since it's only $300-ish more than the brakes I was going to use, but $3000 for rear brakes?! :scared: :seizure:
