Chevy Hi Performance May issue. On page 85 the chevelle has billet steering arms, anyone know who makes them. Or anyone know the guy who ones it. I already have a lead for someone to make them for my
"custom"(nighmare) application. (lots of help from SC&C).

thanks if anyone knows.

TRZ Motorsports www.trzmotorsports.com

It would be nice if they gave a little more description of how they supposedly eliminate bumpsteer (heard that claim before...)

STAY AWAY FROM TRZ...........

Personal experience here. You'll never get your parts.

have not bought them yet, still have to do some figuring. why are they so bad to deal with.

Joe, you still might be making them, I'm still trying to find a set of stock ones for mock-up.

not worried how they change bumpsteer for my application, that will be taken care of.

Is it me or is there something frightenning about "billet aluminum" and steering arms in the same sentance? I was thinking of making some and I was going with 4140 oqt.

I ordered a set of TRZ control arms for my "old" 70' GTO race car. Tom from TRZ told me it would be about a month (I ordered the set for coil overs). I pulled the front end off the car and waited.......

Two months go by and I call him. "They shipped out today", I was told.. And was told that for the next two months......

Then, finally, I went up to the NMCA forum and posted that I was having a problem and that Tom was clearly lying to me. 13 people in less than 12 hours posted he was doing the same thing to them.

Tom saw that ad, as most of his customers do that type of racing.

A couple days later I had my control arms.

As far as I'm concerned, I'd still be waiting if I didn't out manuver him on the forums. The arms were AWESOME, and I had no problems with them, but I'll never give him a dime again.

TRZ's arms are longer than stock for a rack front steer conversion, I will have to have custom ones done instead.

Depends on the capabilities of the designer.

Yeah, I don't see what the big deal is. We did FEA on our steering arms and they will take a ton of abuse.
