Reno here, I've got an 82 Cutlass...well sort of, the body is on one side of the garage, the frame is on the other side, with the front clip and everything else up on the lift. We'll go from there.

Welcome to the site, Reno. A project all in pieces, scattered about--I know the feeling.

Welcome from another neglected step-child of GM. What are your plans for the Cutlass?

hahahaha... It'll probably never happen but all the G-bodys on this site are giving the first gen camaros a run for their money!

Racereno, that sounds like it'll be loads of fun. Just watch out, because once you go turbo, you never go back!

After helping my buddy install a Texas Rear Turbo package (STS turbo kit + TRT accessories) on his '98 SS, I can tell you firsthand that those turbo systems are no joke. After a poor dyno-tune in terrible weather, at around 9.5psi, he was making 460whp/468wtq on an otherwise stock LS1. Bad lag and traction issues limited the car to 12-second passes with 11-second trap speeds. Recently re-tuned at TRT's facility, on just 7psi(!!!), he's now making 483whp and 470wtq. The lag is virtually non-existant, and the car absolutely screams. With alky, 500whp/tq is easy. I've got a 2nd-gen Z28 rotting in the garage just begging for something like this.

Sorry, didn't mean to threadjack. Best of luck with the Cutlass and keep us updated!
