You are right... A little different... but I like it.

My 2 cents (not that you asked)
- Match the front and rear rims and lose the red line.
- Paint the Exhaust tips with a high temp black paint.

A much shorter list than I would do to mine! Cool ride!

Nice ride Alcino! Back when I was a teen, I had a friend with a '76 Cobra (302/auto). That little car would fly and for a stocker would also handle the curves!

thanks guys,
And just so you know the wheels will match soon enough. I just did a brake upgrade in the front and had to go from 4 lug to 5 lug. The rear will follow in the next couple months. Would be sooner but I just bought a big rock for my now fiance's hand.

That is very cool (The car not the fact that small silly rocks cost $$$$) I dig the color. Is that the original paint code?

No its not the original color. I gave up a long time ago on keeping it original. I would have to say this is one of the harder cars to find parts for that are not engine or front suspension related.

Anyway the original color was met. Blue. But now it sports a late model chevy pickup (LATE 80's early 90's) bahama blue. A paint shop was going out of business and I scored the gallon for $10.

steve C, your car is also really cool. I like the strip. Its unique, and breaks up the color well.

I almost bought one of those once a long time ago, but ended up with a Pontiac, and I've had one in the family ever since. Now we have a Mustang in the family, but it's a later model Fox body. Nice looking car, man!

Looks really good.Love the stance and the fender flares:worship: .Wouldnt have done other things than the aforementioned things. But i understand the reasons.

Are the fender flares made from glassfibre or steel?

been a while.

The fenders are fiberglass with a 1/4 inch steel bar to support the edge. I spent many days sanding and re-applying bondo to get it perfectly round. They have held up well, except for a flat tire that I got that ripped the steel edge off on side. Most people don't notice, but it drives me crazy. Next time its up for paint (maybe never) I think I will just put new quater panels on it and shove the wheels inboard, or really get crazy and buy an english wheel and make them from steel.

Oh by the way. My car will be in the march and April 2006 issues of Popular Hot Rodding. My Dream come true.
