I'm looking at a pro built 454/th400 w/Gear Venders thats got 55,000 miles on it. It runs like a clock and the tranny is in great shape. The GV unit isn't working and the gentlman selling it claims that it just needs seals or a selenoid of some sorts. I do hydraulics and such all the time, just never been inside any tranny type stuff.
Are they fairly simple inside? Any tricky spots?
