Does any one know if GM has a 1 1/8" bore master cylinder in this style? I'm not having any luck trying to find one.:banghead: Asked a couple of dealers and they weren't too helpful.

Why are you after that bore size ?.

yes, try one from a mid '90's caprice. But, with those style of MC's you just can't measure the bore diameter on the rear since they are a quick take up style.

Sorry,I should have explained that. I am installing a Hydratech hydroboost unit and that is the bore size that was recommended by Paul. I have the 6 piston Baer 6S brakes front and rear.

I would have thought hydratech would know ,also it not only the bore size you need to know it also the throw as it the volume of oil that is moved.

The 81 4 wheel disc Trans Ams have one similar to the upper one in 1 1/8. The lower one looks more like a truck MC
