Hi I have a guy here at my house, he has a set of corvette calipers for sale cheap I have first dibs. He said they will work with the 98-2002 Camaro backing plates to do the swap to 69 Camaro 12bolt and I will have a parking brake. My question is will this work or is he wrong? I have to let him know by tonight they are C5 s

I currently have red c5 z06 calipers mounted in the LS1 rear caliper brackets/basket (not sure what the part is called that the caliper mounts into), so I know that works.
The C5 bracket/basket is different. So you will still need F-body brackets/basket.
