View Full Version : SBC Steel Crank Identification

I just picked up a SBC 350 short block. The date code says it's assembled in 1999. It's supposed to have a steel crank but I'm suspect, it looks cast to me. What are the major identifiers to look for. I'll post pics tonight if needed.

Thanks. I was also directed to look at the parting lines.
