That my friend will be one bad a$$ ride. I can not wait to see the build pics. Other that the full Cobra drivetrain what all are you going to do to it?

let's see....
stage IV eaton/tb/plenum port
2.76 pulley
all related fuel/cooling mods
26 spline input shaft
spec 2+ clutch
currie rear end with upgraded housing and 31 spline axles
big wilwoods all around
17x8 on front and 18x13 on the rear with 345 BFG drag radials
martz chassis 4 link
heidt's MII front suspension
coilovers all around

if you'll look closely, the car didn't have the radiator hooked up, as some of it got damaged
:(
that's the ONLY thing that prevented me from annihilating some tires and trying to break the 7.5 rear
lol

So, out of curiosity, what does a wrecked and stripped Cobra go for money wise?
Mainly you bought the drivetrain, right?
Sounds like a very cool project!

we picked this one up for 8900, which is actually a pretty good deal, it was basically just the engine, tranny, all harnesses, the dash, guages, and fuel system, everything else was already stripped
i've seen pullout engine and trannies go for 10-12500, but this was a running car
we may be getting another one pretty soon for another project, but we hope to get a more complete car to have a few extra parts to play with

I will be watching this build. I want to do the same thing with my 66 fastback. I am currently doing a 5.0 EFI swap on the car but who knows what the future will bring my way!
