Are LT1 valves different than regular sbc valves? I have a brand new set of SS valves and was wondering if they would go in my 93 LT1 heads. Also does any one know the maximum lift the LT1 alum heads can handle?
thanks

They are the same valves. I believe they are 1.94" 1.50". Not sure about the limit of the lift on factory setup. I am guessing less than .50"

I was reading a thread on headers and I thought you said you bought headers to fit the car. I am putting LT1 in a 70 Nova and was wondering will Gen l headers work on LT1 heads?
thanks

Yes the LT1 exhaust flange is basically the same as a standard SBC. It is the same as the D shaped ports of mid 80's + Vette, EXCEPT they are .100" farther away from the CL of the crank. By the headers a small block in your car & you will be fine.
