I used to think it was the "cam" too but I guess I was corrected and those engines dont have a cam. :scared: They are rotary engines and I wont even pretend that I know anything about them.

they have like a cam/crankshaft/half the engine.... Wankels are awesome designs, but get awful milage, and if you screw up your tune and detonate once you can kiss your apex seals good bye. The other things is the combustion chamber is huge, so it can't ignite properly, I guess it's better on the newer ones, and people were putting in secondary spark plugs.

Either way, unless they do a helluva lot more R&D for having them on the street...give me something tried and true.

I've been told that the rotaries make a wild sound when they are reved up, but I've never actually heard one myself. It definetly reminds me of a hopped up sled. A triple for sure.
