Progress is slow but we are moving forward. As the photo's show, powder coated frame and suspension complete. LS7 with a Crane Hot Cam Kit (estimated HP just over 600) and a 4L85E with a 2500 stall installed. Currie 9" with 3.73:1 gearing. Wilwood 13" disc's with 6 Piston Calipers. Coil Overs on the front, Air Ride Tech Air Bags on the rear. Frame was narrowed 6" on the rear to fit the Intro Wheels (18's) (13 inch wide in the rear) mounted with Michelin Pilot Sports (335's on the back).

Metal work complete on the body, firewall replaced (smooth) and will finish body this week (hopefully)!

I was hoping to drive it from South Florida to Cleveland and debut it on the Power Tour. Clock is ticking, not sure if we can pull it off.

First time I have built a car from the ground up. It's been quite an experience.

I did attach a pic of another project car (just came across two weeks ago and couldn't turn it down). It's a 65 Malibu with a tube chassis, chopped roof for a slick look, all glass except the roof and quarters. Took it to Gainesville last week to have the NHRA look at it and it was certified for 8.50's! Though not a corner carver, it should be a real headturner and strip burner. Cant wait to get in on this one.

I will keep you posted, as I plan to attend many of the Pro-Touring events.
