I introduced this project last year, but the birth of my first child has delayed any real work on the car. I am finally getting some time to work on it. The time delay did give me the chance to work out a plan. Here are the details.

Engine & Drivetrain:
* Rebuilt 318
* late model Magnum 5.2 heads and intake
* Megasquirt fuel injection
* Magnum 5.2 race headers
* forced induction
* GM 700R4 transmission with TCI adapter
* Mopar Sure-Grip differential

Chassis & Brakes
* XV Motorsports Body Stiffening system w/ engine compartment brace, laser cut subframe connectors, lower radiator support, firewall to shock tower brace.
* Mopar 0.96" torsion bars, Heavy Duty leaf springs
* 1-1/8" front, and 7/8" rear anti-sway bars
* polyurethane front and rear suspension rebuild kit
* SSBC front and rear disc brake kits
* Ruff Racing 280 black 20x8, 20x10 wheels

Body
* carbon fiber six-pack hood

Interior
* www.whitegauges.net (http://www.whitegauges.net) white face gauge overlay
* 2000-2006 Pontiac Bonneville front and rear seats

Here is the starting point.

that is badass but why a lowly 318 and not something bigger ? if you want to stay SB then why not a MP 440 crate engine or a stroker kit for 360 ? other wise that bad ass ride turnsout to be a poser and we Mopar guys can't have that :secret:

I actually plan on a turbo setup with two T3/T4 turbos and interocooling. I'm hoping for 450 to 500hp. I'm sticking with the 318 to be different. Every B-body I see, has a big block, V-10, or 360 stroker. I want the uniqueness of the 318, in a high performance build.

You might want to use a bigger set of torsion bars I have .990 in my dart and I am going to go change to 1.14. I also am runnig a 318 but my car should be lighter and I think I need more spring in the front. Your car looks like it will be Badass.

Love those wheels, and love the 318 TT idea. I'd love to see the look on someone's face when you smoke 'em and let them know afterwards the car's "only got a 318."

would you consider a 318 ployshpere motor(half hemi). that would be intersting

High Plains Mopars

nah, I wouldn't bother with the poly. you can get more parts for less dough with the wedge 318 than you can for the poly 318. Heck, I don't think you can even find anything but regrinds for cams for polys.

Set the camera to "close up" mode and you'll get a perfect picture of that Hot Wheels. :p

Looks to be one bitchin ride. I've always loved Mopars. :)

Sweet looking project. Love the shape of the Roadrunner/Satellite.

What are those wheels?

The wheels are Ruff Racing 280's, in black. I plan 20x10's in the rear, with 18x8's or 20x8's in the front.
