check out Speedtech performance and ATS for Corvette caliper conversion brackets. I used Speedtech brackets that allow the c-4 heavy duty 13" rotors to be mated to c-5 or 4th gen f-body front calipers. Its a bolt on job, too. My 67 Firebird has a 9 inch Ford diff. so my rear disc brake conversion will probably not be suitable for your situation. Contact Steeltech not Speedtech for rear disc conversion brackets. This is what I did, it works, is a straight forward installation, and is cost effective. There are MANY options to choose from. look over here--------------------------------------------------------------------->
for vendors that have this stuff and who support this site.

Hey Guys, I am also interest in this topic.
I have a 68 Camaro
* Can I use the stock drumbrake hubs and spindels?
* Does the speedtech brakcet also fit the new 340mm rotors?
* Does the speddtech brakcet also fit the new 6 piston calipers?

Moabdude,
You can use your drum brake spindles, but i believe there is a spacer that fits between the caliper brackets in the spindle. (I know one of the spindles (disc or drum)needs it but can't remember which one. either spindle will work though.) You will need your drum hubs and will have to turn the outer diameter down to fit the corvette rotors around it. As far as the new 340mm rotor and 6 piston calipers I'm not sure but I know that if you contact touring classics they will know for sure. Touring classics sells the complete kits so you don't have to run around trying to get the parts seperatley. They a sponsor to this great website so check them out. www.touring-classics.com (http://www.touring-classics.com)

Moabdude, alright man figured it out. The drum spindle does not require the spacer only the disc spindle. Also the C6 Z06 stuff works with the same brackets. The only thing is that you will need wheels to clear the calipers, those things need tons of room (caliper to wheel clearence). Call Noel at touring classics, he already has the C6 Z06 kits ready.

Yeah, I have'nt done the C6 Z06 stuff personally, only the C5, which is what I'm in the middle of doing right now. I did them on my buddies 68 camaro using the drum spindles from my girlfriends 69 nova(same as camaro). I actually wish I had drum spindles so I would'nt have to use the spacer between the bracket and the spindle. But like I said earlier, the C6 brakes will work perfectly if your wheels will clear.
