Hi I have a Bill Mitchell sml blk 454 with a dominator on it I would like to go with EFI but can't afford it all at once has any one heard of this throttle body and would you consider it any good for my application (This is a real nice new Billet EFI throttle body from Full throttle performance. I bought this for a project I had which changed direction. Bolt pattern is 5 3/8 square, which I believe is the Dominator pattern. Includes IAC, and TPS sensors as pictured. It has 4 - 2.00" bores. Based on other mfg units with this size, it should flow 1600 cfm. Any questions, just ask. Thanks for looking. ) this is the add Thank you for your help Wayne

That does appear to be for a 4500 series carb pad, and it looks to be fine.

Large TB's, while they will not hurt performance at all like oversized carbs, can be difficult to modulate throttle positions (engine speed) unless they have progressive linkage.

I have also heard from many that tip in could be tough with out the progressive linkage. I choose the fast throttle body its available in a 4500 pattern(1300cfm) although its not cheap. Mine is also a BM engine had his mowtown manifold done by Wilson.

Haven't run it yet, waiting for FAST to deliver the distributor, should be soon. The manifold conversion with the rails, and upper pleneum porting cost a 1000.00. The throttle body is about 550.00. Add another 2500 for FAST ECU / injectors / harnesses / sensors, and 350 bucks for the distributor. I imagine there are ways to do this cheaper but its still ridiculiously expensive to do EFI. Im not including The fuel delivery system as well, probably another 600 bucks. I hope it runs well, It should complete the PT car I built. Now all I have to do is figure out how to tune it.
